Stanton Williams is an English architectural and design practice based in Islington, London. Established in 1985 by Alan Stanton and Paul Williams, the studio now has a team of over 50 people with five directors and six associates. Paul Williams is the first design-trained architect to be registered with ARB. Alan Stanton and Paul Williams are both Royal Designers of Industry. Stanton Williams has completed over 350 architectural, urban design, masterplanning, exhibition and interior design projects, winning more than 50 awards, in the arts, culture, education, retail, commerce, residential development and local government. In 2012 their Sainsbury Laboratory in Cambridge was awarded the Stirling Prize.
