WOHA is a multidisciplinary design firm led by directors Wong Mun Summ and Richard Hassell. Creative and technical staff are grouped in teams, that follow projects all the way through from concept to completion. Wong Mun Summ is a member of the Design Advisory Panel of the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Singapore for the Integrated Resort at Marina Bay, Marina Barrage, New Clifford Pier, Orchard Turn, Somerset and Somerset Central, Orchard Mall Enhancement Consultancy and the proposed redevelopment of Overseas Union House at Collyer Quay. He was also a Board Member of URA from 1999-2005, and an external examiner at National University of Singapore Faculty of Architecture. Richard Hassell was invited to participate in the prestigious invitation-only Masters by Practice program at RMIT University in 2000. Richard is an adjunct professor for the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building at University of Technology, Sydney and has given lectures and published papers at a variety of institutions including the National University of Singapore, University of Hawaii, RMIT University, University of Queensland, Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Western Australia. He is an external examiner for Singapore Polytechnic. He is also a member of DesignSingapore Council since 2005 and a practicing artist who has held a solo exhibition in 2002.
